About Us

The Gibbons Museum is operated by the Sturgeon River Historical Society, whose members dedicate hundreds of volunteer hours each year in maintaining the grounds and preserving the local pioneer history.  The Gibbons History Committee compiled a fantastic collection of stories from resident pioneer families, depicting Gibbons history in the book “Our Treasured Roots”. This book is available for sale at the Gibbons Museum.
